Quick Connection Switchgear Information

The APT MF2-Series Generator/Loadbank Quick Connect Switchgear is designed to allow quick and safe connection of either a medium voltage mobile generator set or a low voltage mobile generator connected to a medium voltage step up transformer to facilities experiencing loss of power. The MF2-Series is ideal for facilities that require medium voltage (2.4kV to 15kV). The switchgear is rated Type 3R for outdoor installation. Permanent installation and connection of the switchgear to the facility power distribution system will minimize any unplanned power outages.

Why It Matters

Flexible Configurations

Configure utility, generator, feeder, transfer, and paralleling sections around project requirements.

Integrated Control

Metering, protection, automation, operator interfaces, and monitoring can be incorporated into the lineup.

Factory-Assembled System

The switchboard is assembled, connected, and wired before shipment to reduce required field interconnections.

Serviceable Construction

Accessible sections and removable components support maintenance, servicing, and future system changes.

How It Works

SBU-Series low voltage switchboard system Utility or generator power sources enter the SBU-Series switchboard, which controls, transfers, or distributes electrical power to facility loads. POWER SOURCES Utility / Generator CONFIGURED SOURCES SBU-SERIES SWITCHBOARD & CONTROL DISTRIBUTED POWER FACILITY Feeders / Loads

Power sources enter the SBU-Series through project-specific main or generator sections. The switchboard distributes power to facility feeders while optional transfer, paralleling, protection, metering, and control functions coordinate the system as required.
