This product combines the functionality of the Medium Voltage Switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switch. APT open transition, closed transition and soft loading automatic transfer control modules are available for this product. APT Automatic Paralleling Switchgear control modules, generator paralleling circuit breakers, feeder and tie circuit breakers are available options for this product. This Automatic Transfer Switchgear is available for 50 Hz or 60 Hz operation in the voltage range of 2.4 kV – 15 kV. Typical system voltages are as follows: 60 Hz: 2.4 kV, 4.16 kV, 7.2 kV, 12 kV, 12.47 kV, 13.2 kV, 13.8 kV, 50 Hz: 11.5 kV, 11 kV, 10.5 kV, 6 kV, 3 kV
For applications when down time is not an option our Medium Voltage Automatic Transfer Switchgear can be provided with redundant bypass circuit breakers and mechanically (and electrically) interlocked isolation switches.
